Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • strawberries
  • whipped cream optional - 1 item
  • 9-inch Keebler graham cracker pie crusts - 2 item

How to make strawberry pie:

Bake pie shell for 5 minutes (follow instructions on package). Mash enough strawberries to measure 1 1/4 cups. Mix sugar and cornstarch in 2-quart saucepan. Stir in water and strawberries gradually. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. Cool.

Once cooled, pour some of the strawberry mixture on the bottom of the pie shells. Fill the pie shells with as many whole strawberries that can possibly fit, using the larger ones in the middle of the shells. Pour the rest of the strawberry mixture over the strawberries. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
