  • boiling water - 3 c
  • frozen strawberries - 1 lb
  • strawberry Jell-O
  • broken nuts walnuts - 1 c
  • mashed banana, diced and lightly mashed - 1 c

How to make strawberry jello salad:

Mix ingredients. Pour one-half of mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass cake pan or dish. Let set in refrigerator, then spread a layer of sour cream over set mixture (soften the sour cream with several gentle mixing strokes). Pour remaining one-half of Jell-O mixture over sour cream. Let set in refrigerator. Serve.
