Strawberry jello salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- pkg - 2 oz
- melted margarine - 3/4 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- large Cool Whip - 1 item
- strawberry jello
- crushed pretzels no salt is better - 2 c
How to make strawberry jello salad:
Mix pretzels, margarine and 3 tablespoons of sugar. Pat into a firm crust in a 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Cool.Beat 1 cup of sugar in cream cheese and stir in Cool Whip. Spread over cooled crust. Let set in refrigerator.
Mix jello and water until dissolved. Add strawberries; let set until beginning to jell. Pour slowly over cream cheese mixture and refrigerate overnight.
