Strawberry delight

Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• chopped nuts - 1 c
• flour - 2 c
• cornstarch - 4 rounded
• boiling water
• powdered sugar - 3 c
• cream cheese, softened - 8 oz
• carton Cool Whip - 1 oz
• sticks margarine, melted - 2 item
• Cool Whip optional - 8 oz
• small box strawberry jello - 1 item
• strawberries, cut into small pieces and refrigerated - 1 qt

How to make strawberry delight:

Mix margarine, flour and nuts together; pour into a square pan. Bake until golden brown and let cool. Mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar and Cool Whip together; spread over cooled crust. Dip strawberries out of juice and place on cream cheese mixture until covered.

Mix jello, cornstarch and sugar into boiling water. Bring to a rolling boil. Turn on medium heat and boil one minute. Add a few drops of red food coloring. Cool. Pour over strawberries and chill overnight. You can top with Cool Whip.
