  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • cold milk
  • 5 oz
  • small angel food cake - 1 item
  • heavy cream, whipped or 8 oz - 1 c

How to make strawberry angel trifle:

Prepare strawberry Jell-O according to package directions. Refrigerate until the consistency of syrup. Slice cake in thin serving pieces and line bottom of 13 x 9-inch glass pan. Layer partially thawed strawberries on cake; pour syrupy Jell-O over top. Refrigerate until firm. Prepare vanilla pudding according to package directions, using 2 3/4 cups milk instead of 3 cups. Cool pudding and spread on Jell-O - strawberry layer. Refrigerate 2 to 4 hours. Cover with whipped cream and nuts. Makes 10 to 12 servings.
