Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- cold milk
- 5 oz
- small angel food cake - 1 item
- heavy cream, whipped or 8 oz - 1 c
How to make strawberry angel trifle:
Prepare strawberry Jell-O according to package directions. Refrigerate until the consistency of syrup. Slice cake in thin serving pieces and line bottom of 13 x 9-inch glass pan. Layer partially thawed strawberries on cake; pour syrupy Jell-O over top. Refrigerate until firm. Prepare vanilla pudding according to package directions, using 2 3/4 cups milk instead of 3 cups. Cool pudding and spread on Jell-O - strawberry layer. Refrigerate 2 to 4 hours. Cover with whipped cream and nuts. Makes 10 to 12 servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Strawberry, Berries.
