Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- salt
- light cream
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- Dijon mustard - 1 tsp
- soy sauce
- chopped parsley - 1/4 c
- minced garlic - 2 tsp
- fresh lemon juice - 1 tsp
- ground pepper - 1/4 tsp
- balsamic vinegar - 1/4 c
- clove minced garlic - 1 item
- good olive oil - 1/4 c
- egg, beaten lightly - 1 item
- Mazola oil - 1/2 c
- frozen peas, cooked - 1 c
- sirloin steak - 2 lb
- large red potatoes with skins, boiled and coarsely chunked - 2 item
- medium red onion, curl in rings - 1 item
- romaine and bibb lettuce - 1 item
How to make steak salad:
Marinade:2 Tbsp. soy sauce1 clove minced garlic1/4 tsp. ground pepper Classic Dressing:1/2 c. light cream1/2 c. Mazola oil1/4 c. good olive oil1/4 c. balsamic vinegar1 egg, beaten lightly2 tsp. minced garlic1 1/2 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. ground pepper1 tsp. Dijon mustard1 tsp. fresh lemon juice1/2 tsp. dry mustard1/2 tsp. sugar Marinate steak overnight. Make Classic Dressing and refrigerate. Just before dinner, cook potatoes; mix with lettuce, onion, peas and parsley. Grill steak; slice thin and mix. Add dressing and serve with crusty bread.Recipe categories: Salads, Beef, Steak.
