Ingredients/Components
- vegetable oil
- garlic salt
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- hot cooked rice - 3 c
- dry sherry - 1/2 c
- onions, sliced - 2 item
- round steak
- can sliced mushrooms reserve juice - 1 oz
How to make steak and rice:
Cut steak into thin strips. Brown in vegetable oil. Add onions. Blend soup, sherry, juice from mushrooms and garlic salt. Pour over steak. Add mushrooms. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour or until steak is tender (or can cover and bake at 350°). Serve over hot rice.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Steak.
