  • oil - 2 Tbsp
  • almond extract - 1/8 tsp
  • can mandarin oranges, drained - 11 oz
  • fresh spinach - 1 lb
  • malt vinegar - 2 Tbsp
  • medium purple onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings - 1 item
  • Tear leaves into bite-size pieces and combine with oranges and onion rings

How to make spinach salad:

Remove stems from spinach; wash leaves thoroughly and pat dry. Tear leaves into bite-size pieces and combine with oranges and onion rings. Toss with dressing; serve immediately. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.Dressing:2 Tbsp. sugar2 Tbsp. oil2 Tbsp. malt vinegar1/4 tsp. salt1/8 tsp. almond extract Combine and shake with vigor.
