Ingredients/Components
- water
- picante sauce - 1/3 c
- can green chilies - 1 oz
- converted long grain rice - 1 c
- can no salt tomato sauce - 1 oz
How to make spanish rice:
Place all ingredients in a medium nonstick pan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes. Yields 4 servings. Has 230 calories, fat free. For a spicier rice, use a can of diced tomatoes and green chilies in place of the tomRecipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Side dish.
