  • water
  • chopped onion - 2 3
  • chili powder - 1/2 tsp
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • chicken bouillon - 2 tsp
  • ground comino - 1/4 tsp
  • raw rice not instant - 2/3 c
  • dash of lemon pepper - 1 item
  • grated bell pepper - 1/2 item
  • small cloves thinly sliced garlic - 2 item

How to make spanish rice:

In small iron skillet, slowly brown rice, onion and pepper in 2 tablespoons olive oil. Add spices, then add hot water with chicken bouillon dissolved in it. Cover. Cook on lowest heat for 15 minutes. This is very good with enchiladas and refried beans.
