Spanish rice
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1 tsp
- American cheese - 1 item
- Minute rice - 1 item
- small green pepper - 1 item
- small onion - 1 item
- cans chunky tomato sauce - 2 item
How to make spanish rice:
Cook onion and green pepper in skillet with small amount of margarine. In skillet, brown ground beef. Add onion and green pepper, salt, oregano and sauce. Cook rice as directed on box. Layer rice, meat mixture and top with sliced cheese. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with rolls.
