Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- margarine - 1/4 c
- mustard - 1/2 tsp
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- Minute rice
- finely chopped onions - 1/2 c
- cans water - 2 item
- diced green peppers - 1/3 c
How to make spanish rice:
Combine tomato sauce, water, onions, green peppers, salt, sugar, mustard and pepper in saucepan. Cover and bring to full boil. Stir in rice. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes, covered. Stir with fork.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Side dish.
