Ingredients/Components
- water
- oil - 1/4 c
- chopped onion - 3/4 c
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- can stewed tomatoes - 1 item
- chopped green pepper - 3/4 c
- cayenne red pepper - 1/8 tsp
- rice regular or long grain - 1 c
How to make spanish rice:
Brown rice, green pepper and onion in oil in large skillet. Add remaining ingredients. Cook 30 minutes until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender. Do not stir or uncover for best results.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Side dish.
