  • sticks oleo or butter - 2 item
  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 5 item
  • cake flour - 3 c
  • baking powder - 1/4 tsp
  • pinch of soda - 1 item
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp

How to make sour cream pound cake:

Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add 1 egg at a time, beating after each addition. Mix flour, salt and baking powder; sift together. Add alternately with the sour cream and vanilla. Bake in tube pan at 350° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325°. Bake for 1 1/2 hours all together.
