Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
How to make sour cream pound cake:
Cream sugar and butter until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each egg. Add flour and sour cream alternately. Mix well. Add oil and vanilla; mix until batter is well blended (3 minutes on medium speed). Pour into tube pan.Bake at 275° for 2 hours or until golden brown and inserted toothpick comes out clean. Can be baked in 2 loaf pans.
