  • cups chopped walnuts - 1-1/4 item
  • cup white sugar - 1/4 item
  • cup butter, melted - 1/2 item
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • cup brown sugar - 1/2 item
  • Batter:2 cups flour
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • cup sour cream - 1 item
  • cup butter - 1/2 item
  • cup sugar - 1 item
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • Glaze:1 cup powdered sugar
  • cup walnuts - 1/4 item
  • Tbsp milk - 1-1/2 item

How to make sour cream coffee cake:

Batter:2 cups flour1 tsp. baking powder1 tsp. baking soda1/2 tsp. salt1 cup sour cream1/2 cup butter1 cup sugar2 eggs1 tsp. vanilla Glaze:1 cup powdered sugar1/4 cup walnuts1-1/2 Tbsp milk1/4 tsp. vanilla Mix walnuts, white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon and butter to make filling. Set aside. Mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Cream butter and add sugar, eggs and vanilla. Then alternately add dry ingredients and sour cream. Grease a 10 inch bundt pan. Fill with 1/2 of the batter. Sprinkle the filling over the batter saving a few tablespoons to sprinkle on top. Add the remaining batter, then top with the remaining filling. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Cool slightly and remove from the pan. Mix and drizzle glaze over the cake. This can be made in a 9 x 13 pan also.
