Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 1/2 c
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- Put in a greased 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan
- Frosting:1 1/2 Tbsp
- powdered sugar
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, sour cream, vanilla; then mix in dry ingredients. Put in a greased 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan. Sprinkle raisins or chocolate chips on top. Then crumb topping. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool. Then drip with frosting.Crumb Topping:1 c. flour1/2 c. margarine1/2 c. sugar Mix until crumbly.Frosting:1 1/2 Tbsp. hot water1 1/2 c. powdered sugar3/4 tsp. vanilla Mix.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Coffee cakes.
