Sour cream cake

Ingredients/Components

• sticks butter - 2 item
• sugar - 3 c
• eggs, separated - 6 item
• soda - 1/2 tsp
• sour cream - 1 c
• plain flour, sifted - 3 c
• lemon juice - 2 tsp
• vanilla - 1 tsp

How to make sour cream cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks one at a time beating well after each. Mix soda in sour cream. Add flour alternately with sour cream. Add vanilla. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into greased and floured tube cake pan. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300°.
