  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 1 tsp
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • 9-inch unbaked pie shell
  • green apples 4 c - 1 lb
  • In medium bowl, slightly beat egg by hand

How to make sour cream apple pie:

Preheat oven to 400°. In medium bowl, slightly beat egg by hand. Add sugar, sour cream, flour, vanilla and salt and mix. Stir in apples (peeled and sliced). Pour in pie shell; bake for 30 minutes.Topping:1/2 c. brown sugar1/3 c. flour1/4 c. butter Mix with fork until crumbly. Sprinkle on pie. Reduce oven to 350° and bake for 15 minutes more.
