Snowball surprises

Ingredients/Components

• butter, softened - 1/2 lb
• sugar - 1/2 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• flour - 2 c
• powdered sugar - 1 item
• chocolate kisses - 15 oz
• finely chopped pecans - 1 c

How to make snowball surprises:

Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add flour and nuts. Blend well. Chill dough. Remove foil from kisses. Shape dough around kisses using 1 tablespoon for each. Roll to form ball, covering kiss completely. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 12 minutes until set but not brown. While warm, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Store in covered container.

These are better the next day.
