Snow covered almond crescents
Ingredients/Components
- flour
- powdered sugar - 3/4 c
- salt optional - 1/4 tsp
- finely chopped almonds - 1/2 c
- 2 sticks margarine, softened - 1 c
- almond extract or 2 tsp - 1/2 tsp
- Quaker oats Quick or Old-fashioned, uncooked - 1 c
How to make snow covered almond crescents:
Heat oven to 325°. Beat margarine, sugar and almond extract until well blended. Add flour and salt; mix well until well blended. Stir in oats and almonds. Using level measuring tablespoonful, shape dough into crescents. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 14 to 17 minutes. Sift powdered sugar over cookies.
