Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1 c
- oatmeal - 1 c
How to make snickerdoodles:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and oatmeal, beat well. Add flour, soda, salt and blend. Chill dough. Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Dip in mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
