Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 3/4 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- sticks butter - 3 item
How to make tea cakes:
Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add buttermilk and soda, stirred together. Add baking powder. Mix and chill for 3 to 4 hours. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
