Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- tsp salt - 1/4 item
- c butter - 1/2 item
- tsp baking soda - 1 item
- tsp cream of tartar - 2 item
- 1/2 c sugar - 1 item
- 3/4 c flour - 2 item
- c Crisco - 1/2 item
- tsp cinnamon and 2 Tbsp sugar, for rolling* - 2 item
How to make snickerdoodles:
Mix butter, shortening, sugar, and eggs thoroughly. Blend flour, cream of tartar, soda, and salt. Stir into butter mixture. Shape into 1 inch balls. Roll into mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Hand Formed cookies.
