Simple spaghetti
Ingredients/Components
- salt
- water
- vegetable oil - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- tomato sauce - 2 cans
- dried basil - 1/2 tsp
- dried parsley - 1 tsp
- uncooked spaghetti - 4 oz
How to make simple spaghetti:
Heat oil in skillet. Add onion and beef and saute until beef browns. Add tomato sauce, water, salt, parsley, basil and pepper; blend well and bring to boiling. Break spaghetti in half and sprinkle into boiling sauce a little at a time, stirring to keep it separated. Cover tightly. Simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until just tender, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Serves 3 to 4.Recipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Spaghetti.
