- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- sifted self-rising flour - 2 c
- fruit and whipped cream - 1 item
How to make shortcake:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and beat well. Add flour to cream mixture and milk. Bake in muffin pan for 10 minutes. Top with fruit and whipped cream. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Grains, Pasta, rice and grains.
