Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- shortening
How to make shortcake biscuits:
Mix flour, salt, sugar and baking powder. Cut in shortening. Add milk. Either roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness and cut into biscuits, or pat into a 9-inch square cake pan. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until biscuits test done.Recipe categories: Strawberry, Breads, Rolls/biscuits.
