Ingredients/Components
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- fine bread crumbs - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- small onion, minced - 1 item
- bread cubes - 1 c
- chopped tomatoes fresh or canned - 3 c
- sugar or more - 4 Tbsp
How to make scalloped tomatoes:
Melt butter; add bread cubes and onion and brown lightly. Then combine all ingredients and spoon into a casserole dish. Sprinkle fine bread crumbs on top and bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Kosher.
