Sausage casserole
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 5 item
- milk
- mustard - 3/4 tsp
- shredded Cheddar cheese
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- bulk sausage - 2 lb
- unseasoned croutons
How to make sausage casserole:
Brown and drain meat. Grease a 13 x 9 pan. Then layer most of the croutons, cheese and sausage in the pan. Beat eggs, 2 1/2 cups of milk and mustard. Pour mixture over ingredients in pan. Cover pan and refrigerate overnight.Mix 1/2 cup of milk with can of soup and pour over ingredients in pan. Sprinkle croutons over top of all the ingredients. Bake at 300° for 45 minutes, covered, then 45 minutes, uncovered.
