Sauerkraut salad
Ingredients/Components
- white sugar - 3/4 c
- onion - 1 item
- Wesson oil - 1/2 c
- large can kraut - 1 item
- green mango - 1 item
- vinegar W - 1/4 c
- box each jello: black raspberry, lime, orange and strawberry - 3 oz
- box each jello red raspberry, lemon and peach - 3 oz
- Milnot or Carnation milk or any canned milk - 1 item
How to make sauerkraut salad:
To make clear layers, mix 3/4 cup of boiling water with jello. Dissolve well. Add 3/4 cup cold water and stir well.To make creamy layers, mix 1/2 cup of boiling water with jello. Dissolve well. Add 1/2 cup cold water and 1/2 cup Milnot. Alternate layers, starting with clear layer and ending with clear layer. Let each layer set at least 20 minutes before pouring next layer on top. Make in a 9 x 13-inch glass dish.
