Ingredients/Components
- vanilla
- flour - 2 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- confectioners sugar - 9 Tbsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- butter or regular margarine - 1/2 lb
- pecans, ground or finely chopped
How to make sand tarts:
Cream the butter and sugar together well. Add sifted flour, salt and nutmeg alternately with chopped nuts to creamed mixture. Form into any desired shape: crescents, balls and rolls. Bake about 20 minutes at 325°. When done, cool on cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
