Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 4 item
- water - 1/2 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- rum - 1/2 c
- Wesson oil - 1/2 c
- box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix - 1 item
- as desired
How to make rum pound cake:
Glaze:1 c. sugar1/4 c. water1/4 c. rum1 stick butter Glaze: Mix and cook over low heat. Let boil 1 minute.Mix all ingredients in mixer for 5 to 10 minutes. Line Bundt or tube pan, greased, with chopped nuts. Add cake mixture. Bake in 325° oven for about 1 hour or until cake tests done. When cake is done, punch holes in cake and pour glaze over top. Take from pan and pour remaining glaze over bottom.
