Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • water - 1/2 c
  • rum - 1/4 c
  • yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
  • vanilla instant pudding
  • Wesson oil - 1/2 c
  • pecans optional - 1/2 c
  • light rum - 1/2 c
  • Grease and flour Bundt pan

How to make rum cake:

Mix for 10 minutes at medium speed. Grease and flour Bundt pan. Put about 1/2 cup chopped pecans in bottom of pan or mix in batter. Bake at 325° for 1 hour. Pour glaze over hot cake in pan!Glaze:1 stick oleo1/4 c. water1 c. sugar1/4 c. rum
