Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 1/2 c
- unsweetened chocolate - 1 oz
- sugar - 1 c
- flour - 1 c
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- cream cheese, softened
- egg - 1 item
- chocolate chips - 1 c
- mini marshmallows
- cream cheese - 2 oz
- milk - 1/4 c
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
How to make rocky road brownies:
Filling:6 oz. cream cheese, softened1/2 c. sugar2 Tbsp. flour1/4 c. margarine1 egg1/2 tsp. vanilla1/4 c. chopped nuts1 c. chocolate chips Frosting:2 c. mini marshmallows1/4 c. margarine1 oz. unsweetened chocolate2 oz. cream cheese1/4 c. milk1 tsp. vanilla1 lb. powdered sugar Over low heat, melt 1/2 cup margarine with 1 ounce chocolate for bar. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Spread in greased 13 x 9-inch pan.Combine all filling ingredients except nuts and chocolate chips. Blend until smooth. Stir in nuts. Spread over bar mixture. Sprinkle chocolate chips over.
Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Sprinkle with marshmallows and bake 2 minutes more.
Meanwhile, melt margarine, 1 ounce chocolate, cream cheese and milk over low heat. Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Immediately pour mixture over marshmallows and swirl together. Cool, cover with plastic wrap and freeze. Brownies should be cut while partially frozen.
