- paprika - 1 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- white pepper - 1/4 tsp
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp

- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- onion powder - 1/2 tsp
- cayenne powder - 3/4 tsp
How to make roasted chicken:
In bowl, combine seasonings. Rub in chicken, inside and out, patting mixture to evenly distribute deep in skin. Place in sealable plastic bag, seal and refrigerate, covered, overnight. Place onion in bird cavity. Roast, uncovered, at 250° for about 5 hours, basting occasionally, with pan juices or until pan juices start to caramelize on bottom of pan and chicken is golden brown.
