Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- Nutmeg - 1 item
- Ricotta Cheese - 2 c
- Unbaked pie shells 2 regular or 1 deep dish
How to make ricotta pie:
Cream sugar and cheese well. Add salt, cornstarch; cream again. Add lemon juice, vanilla and eggs. Mix milk in last. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes. Sprinkle nutmeg lightly on top. Lower temperature to 350° the last 15 minutes. Cool completely.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Meat, Pork.
