Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- Rice Krispies - 2 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- cream of tartar - 1 tsp
How to make rice krispie cookies:
Cream shortening and sugar. Beat until creamy. Add vanilla. Combine flour, cream of tartar and baking soda; mix together with shortening. Fold in Rice Krispies. using a teaspoon, place dough on lightly greased cookie sheet. Press each cookie lightly with fork. Bake at 350° watching carefully for 9 to 10 minutes.
