Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- sifted flour - 1 c
- Topping:1 c
- cherry or strawberry jello - 1 pkg
- Mix as for a pie crust
How to make rhubarb dessert:
Combine dry ingredients and butter. Mix as for a pie crust. Add egg and milk. Pat into the bottom of a 9 x 9-inch greased pan.Filling:3 c. chopped rhubarb1 pkg. cherry or strawberry jello Sprinkle dry jello over rhubarb and layer onto unbaked crust.Topping:1 c. sugar1/2 c. flour1/2 c. butter Mix and sprinkle over rhubarb.
