Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • milk - 3 Tbsp
  • flour - 1/4 c
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • nutmeg - 3/4 tsp
  • 9-inch pie shell
  • pink rhubarb - 4 c

How to make rhubarb custard pie:

Heat oven to 400°. Beat eggs slightly. Add milk. Mix sugar, flour and nutmeg. Stir in rhubarb. Pour into pastry lined pie pan. Dot with butter. Cover with a lattice top. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes until nicely browned. Serve slightly warm.
