Rhubarb crumble
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- shortening - 1 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- rhubarb, diced - 3 c
- touch of cold water - 1 item
How to make rhubarb crumble:
Crumble:2 c. flour1 c. shortening2 Tbsp. sugar dash of salt touch of cold water Roll out bottom layer for baking dish. Save layer for top.Filling: Mix ingredients. Pour over bottom layer. Spread top layer over filling; sprinkle sugar over top. Bake at 425° to 450° for about 10 minutes. Turn oven down to 350° for 30 minutes. Cool. Serve with heavy cream.
