Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 3/4 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- baking soda, dissolved in 1 c - 1 tsp
- rhubarb, cut in 1/2-inch slices - 2 c
How to make rhubarb cake:
Topping:1/2 c. sugar3/4 tsp. cinnamon1/2 c. chopped nuts Cream sugar and butter. Add egg. Mix well. Add sour milk, salt, flour and vanilla. Mix well. Fold in rhubarb. Combine the topping ingredients and sprinkle over top of mixture. Use 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
