Remoulade sauce
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- vinegar - 4 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 4 Tbsp
- salad oil - 1 c
- paprika - 2 tsp
- prepared horseradish - 4 Tbsp
- prepared mustard - 4 Tbsp
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- dash of cayenne - 1 item
- green onions, minced - 1/2 c
- celery, chopped fine - 1/2 c
- catsup optional - 2 Tbsp
How to make remoulade sauce:
Combine lemon juice, vinegar (tarragon, if you have it) and seasonings. Gradually add oil. Stir with fork or rotary beater to blend well. Add celery and onion. Makes 2 cups.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Southern u.s., Cajun.
