  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • self-rising flour - 3 c
  • Wesson oil - 1 c
  • large bottle red food coloring - 1 item
  • box powdered 10x sugar - 1 item
  • Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting
  • chopped nuts as many as you like - 1 item

How to make red cake:

Makes 3 layers. Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.Cream Cheese Frosting:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 stick margarine1 box powdered 10x sugar1 tsp. vanilla chopped nuts (as many as you like) Mix the cream cheese and margarine together; beat until smooth. Add powdered sugar; continue beating until smooth. Add vanilla and nuts, then mix.
