Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar
- corn syrup - 1/2 c
- Crisco - 1 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- ice water - 4 Tbsp
- sunflower oil - 1/4 c
- dried raisins - 3/4 c
How to make raisin pie:
Filling:1/2 c. brown sugar1/2 c. corn syrup1/4 c. sunflower oil1 egg, beaten1 tsp. vanilla1/4 tsp. salt3/4 c. dried raisins Crust: Mix all ingredients. Roll into 2 balls; roll out for pie crust.Filling: Mix brown sugar, corn syrup, oil, egg, vanilla and salt. Wash raisins in lukewarm water; drain. Add to sugar mixture. Pour into pie crust. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
