Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 c
- milk chocolate chips
- peanut butter - 1 c
- pecans optional - 1/2 c
- cereal Crispix, Rice/Corn or Wheat Chex - 8 c
- powdered sugar may need to add more - 1 lb
How to make puppy chow:
In double boiler, melt butter, peanut butter and chips. Pour over cereal and stir until well coated. (Add pecans here, if desired.) Dump into paper sack or small plastic garbage bag and add powdered sugar. Toss until well coated. Remove and spread on waxed paper to dry.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Candy.
