Ingredients/Components
- French vanilla instant pudding - 3 pkg
- large bananas - 4 item
- cans pineapple tidbits, drained - 2 item
- box yellow Butter Recipe cake mix - 1 item
- strawberries, cleaned and sliced lengthwise - 2 qt
- large plus 1 small Cool Whip - 1 item
How to make punch bowl cake:
Bake cake in a 9 x 13-inch pan; cool. Prepare pudding as directed; refrigerate. Drain pineapple. Slice strawberries. In bottom of large punch bowl, break up 1/2 of cake; cover with 1/2 of pudding. Layer 1 can of pineapple tidbits, 2 sliced bananas and 1 quart sliced strawberries, standing 1 roll of strawberries around edges of bowl. Fill center with remaining quart. Cover with 1 small tub of Cool Whip. Repeat 2nd layer in same order, using 1 large Cool Whip to cover top. Garnish with strawberries, cut in half.
