  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • milk - 2/3 c
  • stick margarine - 1/4 item
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • finely chopped pecans - 1/2 c
  • white sugar - 1/4 c
  • cake mix
  • can pumpkin
  • box yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • stick margarine melted - 1 item

How to make pumpkin pie cake:

Topping: reserved 1 1/4 c. cake mix1/2 c. white sugar1/4 stick margarine1/2 c. finely chopped pecans Before beginning, set aside 1 1/4 c. cake mix for later. Grease and flour 9x13 cake pan.

Mix the remaining cake mix with margarine. Beat 1 egg and mix together. Pour in cake pan. Make another mixture.

Use 1 can pumpkin. Add eggs, brown sugar, white sugar, milk, cinnamon and salt. Mix together and pour over the first mixture in the pan.

Topping: Combine all 4 ingredients and mix well. Sprinkle on top of the pumpkin filling. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes.

This may be served hot or cold with Cool Whip.
