Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 2/3 c
- stick margarine - 1/4 item
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- finely chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- white sugar - 1/4 c
- cake mix
- can pumpkin
- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- stick margarine melted - 1 item
How to make pumpkin pie cake:
Topping: reserved 1 1/4 c. cake mix1/2 c. white sugar1/4 stick margarine1/2 c. finely chopped pecans Before beginning, set aside 1 1/4 c. cake mix for later. Grease and flour 9x13 cake pan.Mix the remaining cake mix with margarine. Beat 1 egg and mix together. Pour in cake pan. Make another mixture.
Use 1 can pumpkin. Add eggs, brown sugar, white sugar, milk, cinnamon and salt. Mix together and pour over the first mixture in the pan.
Topping: Combine all 4 ingredients and mix well. Sprinkle on top of the pumpkin filling. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes.
This may be served hot or cold with Cool Whip.
