Pumpkin pie
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- pumpkin pie spice - 1 Tbsp
- hot water - 1 c
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1 c
- can evaporated milk - 1 item
- eggs, beaten slightly - 5 item
- 2 can pumpkin
How to make pumpkin pie:
Blend thoroughly and pour into 2 prepared 9-inch pie shells. Bake at 350° until set.I heat the mixture before pouring into pie pans. This cuts the baking time and seems to make them cook more evenly.
This recipe is one I got from my mother by making her measure the ingredients just that one time so I could have them.
