Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon
- milk
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- cloves - 1/4 tsp
- slightly beaten eggs - 3 item
- can evaporated milk - 1 oz
- 9-inch unbaked pastry shell - 1 item
- mashed cooked pumpkin
How to make pumpkin pie:
Thoroughly combine the pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices. Blend in eggs, milk and evaporated milk. Pour into unbaked pastry shell (have edges crimped high; filling is generous). Bake at 425° for 10 minutes. Reduce to 350° and bake another 40 minutes, or until inserted knife comes out clean. Cool.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
