Ingredients/Components

  • large can pumpkin - 1 item
  • large can evaporated milk - 1 item
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • eggs - 3 item
  • box yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • sticks melted margarine or butter - 2 item
  • cream cheese room temperature
  • topping, thawed - 3/4 c
  • powdered sugar

How to make pumpkin crisp:

Frosting;8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)3/4 c. topping, thawed1 1/2 c. powdered sugar Line 9 x 13-inch pan with wax paper, bottom and sides. Mix first five ingredients and pour in pan. Pour dry cake mix over mixture. Pat nuts into mixture. Spoon butter over nuts. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes. Invert on tray and remove paper. Cool and frost.

Frosting: Combine ingredients and frost. Refrigerate until serving time.
